We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Healthcare Technology Specialists to join our dynamic team. As a Healthcare Technology Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the integration, implementation, and maintenance of technology systems and solutions in healthcare settings. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of healthcare technology systems, with a focus on improving patient care, enhancing workflow efficiency, and maintaining data security and privacy.

Responsibilities:

1. System Implementation and Integration:

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze healthcare workflow processes and identify opportunities for technology integration.

   • Manage the implementation of healthcare technology solutions, including electronic health records (EHRs), clinical decision support systems, telemedicine platforms, and other relevant applications.

   • Coordinate with vendors and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and compatibility of various systems.

2. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

   • Provide technical support and assistance to healthcare professionals in using technology systems effectively and efficiently.

   • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, perform diagnostics, and resolve technical problems to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.

   • Stay updated with the latest advancements in healthcare technology and proactively address emerging challenges and risks.

3. Data Management and Security:

   • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and maintain the security and integrity of patient information.

   • Develop and implement data management strategies, including backup and recovery processes, data quality monitoring, and data cleansing activities.

   • Conduct regular audits to assess data accuracy, completeness, and security.

4. Training and Education:

   • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate healthcare professionals on the effective use of technology systems and applications.

   • Create training materials, user guides, and documentation to support end-users in navigating and utilizing healthcare technology effectively.

   • Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, addressing their queries and concerns related to technology usage.

5. System Evaluation and Optimization:

   • Monitor the performance of healthcare technology systems, identify areas for improvement, and recommend enhancements to streamline processes and enhance user experience.

   • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback, conduct user surveys, and analyze user satisfaction to drive system enhancements and ensure user adoption.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare informatics, information technology, computer science, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

• Proven experience in implementing and supporting healthcare technology systems, such as EHRs, clinical decision support systems, telemedicine platforms, etc.

• Strong technical proficiency in healthcare software applications, hardware systems, networks, and databases.

• Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and experience in maintaining data security and integrity.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
